Vehicle Description
This 2004 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible is a low-mileage and sleek
sports car that's loaded with all the best features. After all, a
V8-powered drop-top with a leather-lined A/C interior is
irresistible. And everything from a cold air intake to a head-up
display makes it a true driver's car.
Silver is a timeless color, and that seems right on this car
because this car was generations in the making. The C5 Corvette is
desirable for the way it advanced the historic model line. You
still got the sleek hidden headlight front end and quad tail lights
that had been in place for generations, but the design was all its
own. There were more pronounced curves for the fenders than the C4,
and there was a more intricate design to the hood and fender vents
than the Stingray before it. This C5 set the tone for a modern
sports car while also being an instant classic. And you can see all
of this so well on this example because it has averaged under 2,800
miles annually. This was the final year for the C5, and so a
factory-correct car like this still comes with added distinction,
like the optional polished alloy wheels available on later
cars.
The black roof looks terrific against the silver paint, and when
you take it down, the same color appeal is showcased with the black
leather interior. Low mileage means everything remains looking
great, right down to the Corvette logo in the floor mat. A proper
Corvette is about grand touring comfort for two. So it comes loaded
with all the best features, including power seats, power windows,
power locks, keyless entry/alarm, dual airbags, and an AM/FM/CD
stereo by Bose. And the dual-zone automatic climate control means
you and your passenger get to dial-in the individual ideal
temperature, even when the top is down. The leather-wrapped
steering wheel is on a tilt column, and so you get an excellent
view of the gauges. But you're always going to know the best
information without ever taking your eyes off the road thanks to
the desirable head-up display option.
Another great part of the C5 is the LS1 V8. This fuel-injected
powerhouse set a whole new level of performance for the Corvette,
and so it's great to have this one with such a clean and complete
presentation. You can tell this is a powerhouse that wants to be
shown off, and the added SLP Blackwing cold air intake reminds you
this one likes to be driven, too. The fully-independent sports
suspension, four-wheel power disc brakes w/ABS, limited-slip rear,
and grippy ZR-rated tires are great for sports car fun. But don't
forget that this convertible is great for all-around driving. So
the four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive, power steering,
and cruise control make this great for the grand tour, too.
Complete with owner's manual, this is a final-year C5 that has the
right style and substance to be a fun modem classic. So don't let
this deal slip away, call today!
