The Kaiser Jeep M715, an American light military truck based on the civilian Jeep Gladiator was produced between 1967 - 1969. It was the successor to the Dodge M37 and is sometimes called the “Five quarter (ton)” for its 1 ¼ ton payload rating. This Kaiser Jeep featured a 230 cu in (3.8 L) Tornado I6 engine mated to a Warner T-98 4 speed manual transmission. The Transfer case is a New Process NP200 two-range with a 1.91:1 low range. Sitting on Dana 60 front axle and a Dana 70 full-floating axle in the rear and a 5.87:1 ratio. Coated in Military green paint the body panels are in excellent shape with no major dents. The paint shows some visible wear on the driver’s side which can be seen in the photos. The interior features two seats wrapped in tan fabric. Floor pans are solid with no rust and the cabin is covered by a removable canvas top which is free of any rips or tears. The electrical system is 24 volt utilizing two 12 volt batteries in series.
