2008 Ford Mustang Roush 428R Stage 3

Called "S197" internally, the 5th-generation Mustang launched for 2005 with a heritage-laced design, a new platform, and an available 24-valve V8 engine. Extending the wheelbase gave the Mustang a much more compliant ride than its predecessor. Production ended in 2014, and the "S197" passed the Pony Car torch to the current-generation Mustang.
This car started life as a Mustang GT Deluxe. Michigan-based tuner Roush installed its 428R package when this Mustang was new. Limited to 200 cars for 2008, the 428R gained several performance and visual modifications. This car is one of only 200 428R produced in 2008 and it comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Power comes from a supercharged 4.6-liter V8, rated at 435 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. It spins the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission. The car presented at auction features:
