1928 Chevrolet Roadster

The Chevrolet AB National began production for the 1928 model year, replacing the AA model. The series AB National was produced to complete with the Model A from Ford.
The AB National wheelbase was increased by four inches and was one of the first projects from GM's Art & Color studio. It was the last Chevrolet to use the 4 cylinder engine and the Roadsters and touring sedans had the ability to fold the windshield forward on top of the cowl for open air driving. Of major improvement, 4 wheel braking was now present on the car.
The 1928 Chevrolet Roadster presented at auction received a complete restoration a number of years ago. The car presents well but is showing the years of wear and use. The convertible top is in good condition and the car runs good and drives just like a 1928 Chevy!
The motor was replaced at some point and is reported to have low miles. The car has been converted to 12 volt and turn signals were installed. Of special note…the car comes with the original 1928 Owners Manual!
