This 1989 Ford F-250 XLT Lariat Supercab pickup is a really nice
and very clean truck that spent itrs life in Washington. This is a
cool truck with excellent mechanicals, new interior and a vintage
look. The body on this truck is clean and straight and the paint
appears to be all original. It has a really cool Patina look that
we like. The colors are Desert Tan Metallic and light Chestnut. All
of the chrome and moldings are original and in very nice original
condition. The underside is also original and nice and clean. We
found no rust issues with this truck which is the norm for a
vehicle from this part of the country.
The interior is really nice with new carpet, new seat upholstery,
new custom door panels, and new headliner. The rest of the interior
is original and in really nice condition. The headlights,
taillights, brake lights, and turn signals are all working. The
gauges are all working and this truck has Power windows and Locks
that are also working. This truck has working cruise control and
the heat, wipers, and horn all work. This is an AC truck and the AC
is complete but it is not blowing cold.
Mechanically this truck is in excellent shape and it runs and
drives great!! The engine is the 7.5L 460 V8 that runs strongs and
was rebuilt just under 1,000 miles ago. It was done by S & J
engines and we have a receipt for $5,600. Nearly everything related
to the engine was rebuilt and replaced. The engine runs really nice
and starts easily. They also added a nice sounding custom Magnaflow
exhaust. It has a C6 Automatic Transmission that shifts nice and it
is mated to the Borg Warner Manual Transfer Case. The 4WD works
like t should. It has the Ford 10.25 Rear Axle with 3.55 gears. The
Front Axle is the Dana 44 TTB with 3.55 gears. This F25o also has a
4 Inch lift kit that was professionally installed and it rides like
a stock setup. This is all sitting on a set of Aluminum wheels with
some newer Toyo Open Country Tires size 315/75/16.
