Vehicle Description
CPR Classic is excited to offer this 1995 Porsche 993 Carrera
finished in Black with a black leather interior and fitted with a
6-Speed manual transmission. This example is a life-long Southern
California car that was delivered new in Los Angeles. Showing
47,770 original miles, this 993 shows as a 10,000-mile car
cosmetically and has been cared for to an extremely high level
throughout its life. The exterior paint meters as all original and
there is no sign of prior paintwork.
The car remained in Los Angeles from new until 2004, having covered
27,600 miles. In 2004 the car was relocated to San Diego where it
lived for five years covering an additional 10,000 miles before
being sold to an owner in Los Angeles. The car remained with the
same owner from 2009 to 2016 and showed 46,000 miles at the end of
said ownership. Since 2016, the car has resided back in Temecula
and San Diego and has covered only 1,700 miles in the past 5 years.
It benefitted from service at Hoehn Porsche in February of 2022
just before arriving at CPR Classic.
This 993 Carrera was equipped nicely from the factory to include
the following options:
331- Cassette Radio Becker CR11
298- 17 Inch wheels
437- 8 way electrical seat - right
438- 8 way electrical seat - left
445- Wheel caps with colored Porsche crest
454- Automatic Speed Control (Cruise Control)
490- Sound System
650- Sun/Moon Roof
692- 6 disc CD Changer
At some point in the car's life, a factory wooden shifter and hand
brake lever were added and fit the look of the interior nicely. The
interior is in excellent condition with a beautiful original dash,
carpet, headliner, and leathers. The seats show exceptionally well
and show only limited signs of stretching.
Mechanically the car presents in excellent condition with no oil
leaks, a clean undercarriage that retains its factory cosmoline,
and proper maintenance and up-keep throughout. The car wears a
newer set of Michlin Pilot Sport AS tires and is a joy to drive. It
starts effortlessly, makes excellent power, and provides the
wonderfully smooth shifting that 993s offer. The car wears a proper
alignment and turns into corners with precision and is an
all-around rewarding experience to drive.
The Porsche 993 has grown increasingly more desirable over the past
several years and examples of this quality and originality are
seldom seen in today's market. That, coupled with the car remaining
in the dry climate of California make for a wonderfully preserved
993 that will bring the joy of ownership to its next caretaker. If
you are in the market for a well-sorted, turn-key 993 that needs
nothing to be enjoyed immediately, this is a must-consider
example.
