Vehicle Description
This is one sharp looking Jeep! The quality of restoration really
impressed me too. I was not looking to buy a Jeep that day but I
was at a show in Tennessee and this one grabbed me. It looks very
fresh, show quality. Very desirable upgraded 360 V8, power steering
and brakes. It was all tastefully down, I especially love the green
accents.
EXTERIOR: All metal, clean body. It is straight, no rust or damage.
The CJ7 has a longer body and larger door openings. The paint is
polished to a high gloss. The hood scoop was opened up to let fresh
air into the motor compartment. New fender flares and rocker trim.
New chrome/stainless grill, mirrors, hinges, fuel opening and hood
latches. New soft doors and bikini top. New windshield and gasket.
Custom steel square tube bumpers. In front it has a new winch and a
Hi-lift jack. In back it has a full size spare with tire cover.
Steel step plates make it a bit easier to climb in. The 35x12 50R15
tires look new. Highly polished M/T wheels with a green pinstripe
and chrome locking hubs are sharp looking.
INTERIOR: Nicely restored, weather resistant. The entire floor is
lined with outdoor carpet. New front bucket seats, original rear
seat. The center console has cup holders and plenty of storage. The
dash area is clean- the metal is painted nicely, knobs, gauges and
emblems look new. It has a new padded dash with contrasting
stitching. Original cushion grip wheel. New padded covers on the
roll bar. Retractable shoulder belts in front.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Show quality, she's fresh. It was upgraded with
a 360 V-8. New Edelbrock aluminum intake, Edelbrock carb, billet
distributor with HEI ignition and Hedman coated headers. All the
components look new- pulleys, alternator, solenoid, wiring harness
etc. Upgraded aluminum radiator, water pump and an electric fan
keeps it cool. The battery is properly secured, plug wires neatly
run, hoses are new etc. Also upgraded power steering and brake
systems.
UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame for restoration, underneath
looks new! The front end steering is rebuilt and detailed. Even the
nuts and bolts are new. It has a Skyjacker lift kit including new
springs, Hydro Shocks, a heavy duty steering stabilizer and
polyurethane bushings. The floors are rust free metal painted
glossy black. The frame is smooth satin black with new body
bushings. The brakes were rebuilt, disc in front. New e-brake
assembly, lines and hoses. It has chrome covers over front and rear
differentials. Looking up at the motor it is fresh. Motor mounts,
freeze plugs and starter look new. 3-speed manual trans looks
clean, new speedo cable. New skid plate protects the transfer case.
Great sounding chrome side exhaust.
Fun in the Sun! I hope we still have this when the weather breaks,
I'd love to go have some fun with it. Bet my grandson would love to
go get ice cream in it!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure
your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do
a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a
particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car.
Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you
