Vehicle Description
Bold, Loaded, and blindingly fast, this 2004 Dodge Ram SRT-10 is a
modern classic, and this first-ever example has the low-mileage and
exceptionally preserved style ready for a true collector. It makes
for a clean and fresh performance pickup that's a stunner for more
than just the fuel-injected V10 under the hood.
This is the first year Dodge released a Viper-powered Ram, and the
moment it hit the streets, it was an instant classic. That's why
this one was preserved to be a collector from day one. It's a
one-family owned example (father and son) that has averaged 365
miles annually. And all that time it was not on the road, this was
stored in a climate-controlled garage. So it looks stunning in the
sleek and original silver. We know exactly why this has always been
cherished. This was the first year for this special muscle truck.
There were less than 3,100 examples made in this inaugural year and
only 698 in Bright Silver Metallic. So there's only a limited space
in the history books, and this may be the finest example out there.
When a family takes the time to invest in a young classic, you know
it has been treated with care. So all the unique and aggressive
pieces look great, like the monster hood scoop, billet grille, full
factory body kit, and big spoiler. Plus, the 22-inch SRT wheels are
an instant reminder of the Viper heart within.
This truck's sports car feeling continues inside. The
leather-trimmed seats have the kind of bolstering that you usually
get in cars like the Viper, and the SRT-10 embroidered in the
headrests further this connection. There are even white-faced SRT
gauges and a Hurst shifter. But what you don't get in the Viper is
a middle seat that can fold down to give you a spacious armrest. In
fact, a truck like this has the kind of extra head and legroom that
can easily accommodate people who are too tall to fit in a
low-slung sports car. More than just spacious, this is loaded with
all the best features. It includes a power driver's seat, power
windows, power locks, cup holders, dual airbags, side airbags,
keyless entry/alarm, keyless ignition, an overhead console, power
steering, cruise control, and a premium AM/FM/CD stereo with
navigation system. Just like the exterior, this has the exceptional
appearance of quality care. While the dual-zone air conditioning
means you'll never need to open the windows, the sliding rear glass
is there for another very good reason. After all, it lets you hear
the thunderous exhaust in all its glory.
The 10 in SRT-10 means the Viper's 8.3-liter V10 motor is fitted
into this pickup. That makes this a 500-horsepower supertruck
capable of breaking 150 mph. This has a clean and complete look to
make sure you'll love showing off the full package. So this rare
truck has power, prominence, and presence. The T56 six-speed manual
transmission means you have complete control over this V10 and its
growling soundtrack whenever you desire. Power gets to the pavement
via a stout Dana 60 limited-slip rear end with 4.10 gears. So you
get quick and confident take-offs. More than just a pure straight
line machine, Dodge beefed up the suspension and included a large
four-wheel disc brake package with ABS. There are even ZR-rated
Pirelli tires. So this is one of the best handling haulers you've
even driven.
Since this was preserved to be a collector, the paperwork file is
also impressive. It includes the original window sticker, warranty
booklet, owner's manual packet, and maintenance records. It even
has nice details like the spare key with fob and original floor
mats still in plastic. This is the carefully preserved unique truck
that will be the benchmark for the rest. You can even still see the
factory marking in the ultra-clean undercarriage! So if you're a
true collector, call today!
