This 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560SL is a very nice example of the last
year for the R107 SL. This Mercedes is powered by its original
fuel-injected 5.6 liter V8 that performs just like it should with
plenty of power and torque to effortlessly move this roadster down
the road with ease. The 4-speed automatic transmission performs
very well and is exceptionally smooth. The steering is tight and
responsive like it should be. The suspension performs just as it
should and delivers a very smooth and comfortable road feel. The
Garnet Red Metallic exterior is all original and in excellent
condition for the age. The body is rust free and straight. The
bottom side of this Mercedes is very clean and is a testament of
how well this car has been preserved. The matching Garnet Red
Metallic hardtop is in excellent condition and included with the
sale is the hardtop storage rack. The factory soft top is in
excellent condition as well with no signs of wear or tears anywhere
and still retains a very clear rear window. The factory original
Palomino interior is in excellent condition with the exception of
some wear on the driver seat bolster and a small tear in the bottom
of the driver seat. The passenger seat is in excellent condition
with very little wear and no major defects to note. This 560SL is
very nicely optioned with features such as: power steering, power
front disc brakes, air conditioning, power door locks, intermittent
wipers, factory tachometer, aftermarket AM/FM/CD stereo, power
