The "Tri-Five" Chevy's have always been an icon in automotive
history. With their great 50's styling, they are instantly
recognizable and have always been highly sought after by automotive
collectors and enthusiasts alike. This 1955 Chevrolet 210 is an
excellent example of these iconic cars. This 210 benefits from an
older restoration that still presents very well. Once you look at
the bottom side of this '55, it is obvious that they started with a
very solid "California" car. The factory style, two-tone red and
white exterior shows excellent with only a few minor defects to
note. The excellent exterior is complimented nicely by its
excellent factory chrome and stainless, aftermarket chrome mirrors,
and a set of chrome American Racing Torq Thrust wheels wrapped in
Cooper tires. The Black vinyl interior is in very good condition
and shows very little age. The front, split-bench seat shows very
little wear and has plenty of padding. This Chevy 210 is nicely
optioned with features such as: power steering, power brakes, air
conditioning, variable speed wipers, column-mounted tachometer, and
digital AM/FM stereo. Powering this great Chevrolet is a 350 cubic
inch, small block Chevrolet V8 that is backed by a 700R4 4-speed
automatic transmission. Both the engine and transmission perform
just like they should with no hesitation. The suspension is very
original with the exception of the added front and rear Hotchkis
anti-sway bars, which greatly improve the handling of this
excellent 210. If you are in the market for an exceptionally solid
Chevy "Tri-Five" that is turn-key ready for a very rewarding cruise
to your local car show or cruise-in, then you are going to want to
take a close look at this one.
