NCRS Top Flight, a nice presentation, and a ton of originality -
including cold-blowing A/C - make this 1964 Chevrolet Corvette
quite a nice find. Also, keep an eye out for rarity as you look
over the paint, motor, and interior.
Saddle Tan is a sought-after color today. It has that ideal 1960s
kind of earth-tone, and at the same time, the metallic gives it a
golden glow for the right hint of sophistication. It was only
available for a couple of years, and it's believed to be the rarest
color of all the '64s. It has been given a professional respray
later in life, and the body panels have good gaps and alignment.
And the intricate bumpers are shining like mirrors. So that means
rarity and distinction. In fact, this earned an NCRS regional Top
Flight award in 2017! So all the right details are in place, like
the year-correct rocker panels, knock-off style wheels, badging,
and the hood that's unique to the 1964 cars only.
The distinctive color continues inside. The Saddle Tan is the
factory-correct color, and it has been restored to give the car an
overall more sophisticated attitude. And everything is exactly how
you want it. The individual bucket seats feel comfortable; the cool
vertical dial on the Delco AM/FM radio is still cranking out tunes;
you've got the full sporty gauge package; and even the courtesy
lights greet you when the door opens. The factory air conditioning
is even blowing nice and cold to make sure this exceptional classic
remains a true cruiser.
Under the hood is the numbers-matching L75 327 cubic-inch V8. It
looks quite correct with the bright orange block, cursive script
valve covers, and polished air topper and distributor shield. And
as an NCRS Top Flight car, you'll see the right details, right down
to the radiator hoses and Carter four-barrel carburetor. It's also
believed the Powerglide transmission is original, too. It's a great
grand touring classic with the fully independent suspension, power
steering, and power brakes.
The sale comes complete with build receipts as well as stock-style
wheels and hubcaps. This is the classic Sting Ray that offers more
originality, distinction, and rarity than most others out there.
It's the award-winning classic Corvette that's packaged as the
ideal sophisticated cruiser. Call now!
