GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1954 Lincoln Capri for
your consideration. For the first three years of the Capri, Lincoln
gave them a 5.2L Y-Block V8 that moved the large vehicle to 60mph
in under 15 seconds. Mated to the motor is an automatic
transmission that shifts strong between gears.
The vehicle offered here was originally finished in Yellow with a
Green roof and shows very well. This car is very special as it has
been equipped with a continental kit and there were less than 600
produced with this option. It also has an automatic chassis oiler
with a push button, which was an option.
Lincoln released the Capri to compete with the Series 62 offered by
Cadillac. Lincoln offered the Capri as a new age car that allowed
for modern living in an automobile to complement the changes in
lifestyle of the time. It was a top of the line luxury automobile
then and still remains a wonderful comfortable vehicle from an era
past. Please call or email today with any questions or for
additional information.
Gr Auto Gallery, LLC and our sister company, Wheelz Sales and
Leasing Inc. makes every effort to represent each vehicle
accurately and with integrity. We also welcome third party
inspections when necessary. Although we try to do our very best to
be accurate in our description writing we are human and do make
