The engine bay has a clean presentation with the period-correct 396
cubic-inch V8 engine that looks great with the painted orange block
and heads, Chrome aluminum valve covers, Chrome open element air
cleaner, Tube headers, Performance carb and fuel lines, Aluminum
intake, Performance electronics like the MSD box and distributor,
performance spark plug wires and header boots, oversized aluminum
radiator and cooling system, Power Disc brakes, and shifted by a
B&M shifted automatic transmission.
The power is managed by an automatic transmission before being sent
to the 10-bolt rear end with the dual exhaust system running out
underneath the car.
Interior
Our 68 has a great factory look to it with the Houndstooth
black/grey bucket seat interior
Factory gauges in the dash, Black padded steering wheel, Matching
rear seat, Black door panels and carpet, and Black floor mats.
The interior lights, knobs, handles, visors, etc. work as they
should and the interior is set off with the woodgrain topped center
console housing the B&M shifted automatic transmission.
Exterior
The paint is brilliant shade of Hugger Orange which really shines
and attracts a lot of attention. The body looks good too as does
the chrome, trim, D80 full-width rear spoiler, front lower spoiler,
RS badging, front stripe, chin spoiler, Polished 5-spoke custom mag
wheels and the Black Sidewall Performance tires, and of course the
