but all resemblance to the stock motor and drivetrain ends there.
It has had a performance rebuild to over 425 horsepower with the
addition of a FITECH fuel injection system, performance cam
lifters, Tremec 6-speed transmission with electric reverse lockout,
Hydraulic clutch, March Serpentine Belt Drive System, polished
alternator, valve covers, air cleaner, air compressor, Headers, and
a custom radiator with fans, with all of it sitting in a painted,
clean, and detailed compartment.
It also has 4-wheel Disc brakes, Power Steering, Power Brakes,
Lowered suspension, Rear fiberglass springs, Painless Wiring
System, 4.10 gears in the modified and shortened a Ford 9 inch posi
rear end.
It rides nicely down the road on the custom aftermarket polished
5-spoke wheels mounted on black sidewall tires, and can walk the
walk and talk the talk and back it up too.
Interior
Our 1968 has a great modified later model Camaro black bucket seat
interior with so many neat touches like the custom center dash with
performance gauges, custom made center console, custom side door
panels with electric power windows and locks, the original Air
Conditioning converted to current specs, Tremec 6-speed
transmission shifter with the white shifter ball and electric
reverse lockout button, black steering wheel, Mini CD stereo system
with amp and four speakers, with black carpeting and shoulder and
seat belts.
Exterior
Finished in a stunning orange paint scheme with just right body
lines and all steel body panels, it also has the rear spoiler, good
chrome and trim, blacked out front grill, equally nice window
glass, chrome mirrors, and Camaro side letters, it looks even
better and sportier than when it was new.
This is a knockout street machine that shines in every detail.
