1973 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible - 350ci V8 - 4 Speed Manual
Transmission - Orange Over Black Interior - New Black Soft Top -
Rallye Wheels (Please note: If you happen to be viewing this 1973
Chevrolet Corvette on a website other than our Garage Kept Motors
site, it's possible that you've only seen some of our many
photographs of the car due to third-party website limitations. To
be sure you access the more than 150 photographs, as well as a
short start-up and walk-around video, please go to our main
website: Garage Kept Motors.) Its not too late to have a Corvette
Summer! Drop the top and sail away into summer with this beautiful
Corvette convertible. Introduced in 1968, the third generation
Corvette was a major styling upgrade. Regarded as one of the
best-looking American cars to come out of the muscle car era, the
Corvette was more than the sum of its parts. Based on the
sensational Mako 2 concept car penned by Larry Shinoda the C3 would
go on to feature some of the biggest, meanest engines GM ever
built, cumulating with the all-aluminum 427 cubic inch, 430'
horsepower ZL-1. As the C3 matured it would see the addition of
several safety features and changes made in the name of efficiency,
making this 1973 model one of the last models where performance was
the primary focus. (To best assess the quality of the paint and
trim finishes, please be sure to view the close-up photographs of
the car in the accompanying gallery.) Exterior: Inside and out,
this Corvette is incredibly well preserved. Finished in stunning
Metallic Orange paint with an impressive amount of flake, it is
truly stunning. Chrome side skirts and split rear bumper shine
beautifully. Original L-82 badging is present, as is the Stingray
badging on the fenders. Classic Corvette pop-up headlights function
as they should, and the convertible top shows no tears or excessive
wear. All glass is clear and free of cracks, and all lights are
bright and free of blemishes. Interior: Largely stock, the interior
on this Corvette is black with wood grain accents. Seats and carpet
are in excellent shape with no rips or stains present. Black
leather trimmed steering wheel sits in front of beautiful
speedometer and tachometer gauges. Auxiliary gauges are set in the
center, above the radio, which powers Panasonic speakers. Nestled
in front of the 4-speed shifter rests the controls for the factory
air conditioning. (To best assess the quality of the paint and trim
finishes, please be sure to view the close-up photographs of the
car in the accompanying gallery.) Mechanical: Under the hood is
where the fun really begins. In place of the factory L-82 V-8 there
is a much spicier alternative. A 370 horsepower Turbo-Fire 350
cubic-inch V-8 makes this Metallic Orange missile a genuine sports
car. Also under the hood you will find that the original Frigidaire
air conditioning has been retained. This awesome engine feeds into
a true dual exhaust and is backed by the factory four-speed
transmission. While the more than 175 high-definition photographs
and the short walk-around-and-startup video available on the
GarageKeptMotors website showcase this '73 Corvette in detail from
every angle, including from below, we expect and encourage
in-person inspections at our Grand Rapids, Michigan showroom.
Please call to arrange an appointment in advance as our showroom is
not open to the public. And feel free to get in touch anytime by
