For Sale: 1969 Pontiac Firebird in Alpharetta, Georgia

Vehicle Description

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL 1969 PONTIAC FIREBIRD CONVERTIBLE LOADED  350 V8 4BBL, WITH POWER STEERING, POWER FRONT DISC BRAKES, POWER TOP AND MORE...1 OF 11,649 PRODUCED...READY TO SHOW AND GO!!!

This beautiful Silver Metallic 1969 Firebird Convertible is a car that we sold to a gentleman 10 years ago and recently had the opportunity to purchase it back. He barely drove the car, accumulating just 600 miles in his 10 years of ownership as they only took it out occasionally for local drives and to the local car shows and cruise ins.  As a result it runs and drives as good as it did when I sold it to him 10years ago. At that time I had purchased this Friebird from a gentleman locally who had it for 6 years. The restoration had been done prior to him in the late 1990's. I will do my best to provide you with enough pics, a video and an honest description to decide if this is the cool, classic muscle car you have been wanting. I am also a transport broker and can assit you in getting a great rate on Enclosed Transport anywhere in the US and I also welcome overseas buyers. Sit back and enjoy.

This ’69 Firebird Convertible has a great stance and shows off its curvy, sexy body lines just as you would want it to.  Extremely solid body that appears to have its original body panels, with the exception of the 400 style hood that was added,  with excellent panel gaps.  A professional cosmetic restoration was done approximately 20 years ago on the body. The body is extremely straight and wears a beautiful, high quality, Palladium Silver finish.  This car was originally limelight green but now has a true muscle car look in its new Silver color.  This Firebird still wears the chrome trim that was included in the Decor Group package it was ordered with which includes chrome trim around wheel wells and along the rocker panels. All of the chrome looks excellent!!  A rear spoiler was added and the 400 style hood was added which really give the car the sporty, muscle car stance it deserves.  Overall the body is truly in fantastic condition but is not flawless. I did notice a couple of very tiny bubbles in the trim around the front nose and a few tiny chips that had been touched up.  The Convertible top is power and works great. It was upgraded to the heavier duty german canvas top that stil looks awesome. It also has a brand new convertible top boot.  This Firebird will get thumbs up and comments everywhere you go and is ready for the local shows and I would expect it to win its share of trophies if that is your goal.

Complimenting the Silver metallic exterior is an awesome black interior. The black interior is in fantastic condition with no rips or tears and really barely any sign of wear.  According to the PHS documents the interior was originally green and the car even had a green convertible top.  Special thanks to whoever decided to accent the beautiful Palladium Silver finish with the black top and interior. The original center consolle is in great condition and a very nice AM/FM/CD player has been placed in the dash neatly and speakers were neatly mounted in the front kick panels and in the original grille area of the front dash.  Dash pad looks excellent as do the door panels and carpeting. Front and rear seat belts. Gauges are very clear and function correctly.  All of the wiring from the engine harness back to the rear wire harness was redone so lights and blinkers all function correctly. Nice wood grain aftermarket steering wheel was added with Pontiac logo and looks great.

his beautiful Firebird Convertible is powered by a completely rebuilt, very strong, correct YN coded 350/265 horsepower V8. It is not the original matching number motor but I do have  a receipt from 2005 showing it was completely rebuilt and after driving it home 40 minutes when I originally bought it and also driving it all day today I can testify that this car runs sweet and strong at all speeds!  Originally a 2bbl this 350 has been upgraded with an Edelbrock Pontiac Performer  4bbl intake and carburetor. It is also breathing out a very nice set of Hedman headers that rumble out of the dual exhaust very nicely. Engine bay was nicely detailed years ago and still shows quite nicely.  The Turbo 350 Automatic Transmission shifts strong and crisply and was also rebuilt back in 2005. Handling is a breeze thanks to the Power steering and newer front and rear suspension components. Braking was also nicely upgraded with a Power front disc brake kit. Electronic ignition and almost new battery. This Firebird cruises along nice and cool and is riding on a brand new set of 225/60/15 BFG Radial TA tires that are wrapped around a very nice set of original Rally II wheels.  While this is not a super high horsepower car it is a very strong, great running classic that you can get in and drive and enjoy!! I am sure the next owner will be thrilled with the way this Firebird drives and handles.

BE SURE TO WATCH THE VIDEO WALK AROUND AND HEAR IT START UP AND RUNNING

Since this Classic Firebird spent most of its life in a sunny, warm and drier climate the undercarriage and inside of the trunk are extremely solid.  You will also see that the underside of the doors are also the same way and appear to be original.  This car also has all four of the original “Cocktail shaker” weight canisters. You will see the 2 in the trunk in the pics below. Floorpans look great and are rock solid but the undercarriage has not been highly detailed.  As mentioned in the beginning I do have the PHS documents for this car and also an owners manual that will be included with the sale.

Overall, this is an awesome '69 Firebird that  was nicely restored and ready to drive and enjoy! Asking orice is $41,500 and serious buyers can call me at 770-359-8400. Thank you!
