This 1968 Ford Mustang GT fastback is powered by a 302 V8 (modified) paired with a four-speed manual (top loader) gearbox and was one of 3,708 ’68 Mustang fastbacks built with this powertrain combination. The previous owner reportedly restored the car in North Carolina beginning in 2020, a process that included exterior and interior color changes. A repaint in Highland Green was performed early this decade and is a color change from the original Royal Maroon. The owner installed 15″ Bullitt-style American Racing wheels, which are mounted with BF Goodrich tires. The black interior is a color change from the original red, and it features a four-speed floor shifter, a factory steering wheel, and woodgrain trim. An aftermarket stereo head unit has been installed. A 120-mph speedometer is accompanied by an 8k-rpm tachometer.
