Wow is this one slick! It's like red glass. Very tidy through out.
This is a real 1937, all steel car. It is detailed and ready for a
car show. It's a very comfortable driver with air, seats 4
easily.
EXTERIOR: This is all steel, the body and fenders. I'm very
impressed with the fit and finish. Every inch of the body is laser
straight. No rust, damage, waves or problems. The paint is polished
like a mirror, literally. All the chrome trim is excellent. The
running boards are recovered like an original 1937. The windows
were replaced with smoked glass. It has a one piece windshield,
there is a hairline crack. It has original style headlights and
taillights along with a flush 3rd brake light. It also has a flush
fuel door. The stance is great! It has staggered size, highly
polished Billet Specialties wheels with Michelin tires.
INTERIOR: Very roomy and comfortable. Up front is a pair of
reclining bucket seats. Everything's been upholstered to match: the
headliner, door panels and seats. The carpet is nice and has
matching mats. The metal trim is painted a satin gray finish. It
has a billet instrument bezel with VDO gauges. The AC vents and
controls are neatly installed. It has a Secret Audio system. The
tilt column has a beautiful wood wheel. The door windows are power.
It has seat belts front and back.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Smooth running 350 motor. On top is an endura
shine intake with an Edelbrock carb and a Mallory ignition system.
It is dressed up with some polished finned aluminum valve covers
and air cleaner. It has a modern air conditioning system. The motor
runs cool with an aluminum radiator and water pump and dual
electric fans. There's an Optima battery with a disconnect switch
and new cables. The firewall is very smooth and clean satin black.
Under the hood is gloss red. It has chrome hinges and hardware,
premium throttle linkage, dipstick tube and a chrome horn.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Plenty of room in the trunk for a few overnight
bags or even the golf clubs. It has sound deadener on the floor
under the carpet. The side panels are a upolstered. Under the trunk
lid is painted and has upholstered inserts. The weather strip is
replaced.
UNDERSIDE: The front end was completely replaced with an
independent suspension. Chrome tubular control arms, coil over
shocks, rack & pinion steering. In back it has leaf springs, gas
shocks and a sway bar. Custom bent dual exhaust with polished
stainless Magnaflow mufflers. Disc brakes in front, drums in back.
It has a power brake booster under the car, brake lines were
replaced, e-brake is hooked up. Looking up at the motor it has a
chrome oil pan, starter and flywheel cover look new. It has a
700R-4 overdrive automatic with an external cooler. A rebuilt
driveshaft goes back to Ford 9 inch rear. Clean, smooth metal
floors and frame.
After my inspection I'm impressed with how tidy the car is. It's
clean and fits nice. I'm blown away by how nice the body and paint
are. It also feels and functions great. Truly ready for show and
go!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure
your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do
a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a
particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car.
Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you
will be given a 1 year membership.
