Affordable, capable, and absolutely cool, this 1987 Ford Bronco
Eddie Bauer edition is the full-size 4x4 SUV that has everything
you want, including fuel-injected V8 power and a loaded
driver-ready interior.
The Eddie Bauer editions are timelessly stylish and always premium,
and so it looks terrific in black and tan. Part of what helps is
that the factory-correct black paint has been treated to a
high-quality respray later in life, and the gloss it has today
continues the up-market feeling these Broncos had on day one. In
fact, while it's unknown if the odometer reflects the full actual
mileage, the body has a crisp and clean look that certainly looks
the part of a low mileage SUV. And just like a good Bronco, there's
function within the flair. You see it in the brightwork elements,
like the large towing mirrors, upgraded side steps, 15-inch alloys,
and bright chrome bumper with step/ball attachment on the rear
one.
The Eddie Bauer package inside shows that an off-roader can be both
rugged and sophisticated. The cloth interior has a nice outdoor
pattern that has remained distinct on the well-bolstered bucket
seats. And everything has a quality feel as its coordinates in
earthy colors. There are plenty of great features like power
windows, power locks, cruise control, a tilt steering column, an
upgraded AM/FM/cassette stereo with CD changer controls, and
provisions for R134a air conditioning (it will need servicing.) A
wide center console offers deep storage and cup holders, and
fold-down armrests make the front seats long-haul comfortable. The
nicely appointed back seat means plenty of space for friends and
family, and the huge cargo area behind it provides a place for
everyone's gear. And we love that the rear hardtop can be removed
if you so decide to open up this Bronco whenever you decide.
Under the hood is a 5.0-liter V8. This is an awesome powerhouse for
Fords that only gets better on a more modern classic like this
because you get the advantage of fuel injection. So you get the
hardy construction you love, and it has a more consistent delivery
that's great for both acceleration on the streets and extra power
to really utilize off-road. And speaking of leaving the pavement,
the push-button two-speed 4x4 transfer case makes it easy to
utilize this capable 4x4 to its fullest. The three-speed automatic
transmission, power steering, power brakes, and front discs make
this a great choice for any time driving.
This Eddie Bauer Bronco has the right look and feel of a premium
classic SUV. It has that ideal mix of versatility and vintage flair
that's irresistible, so call today!
