Vehicle Description
1956 Packard Patrician Sedan The 1956 Packard is one of the most
beautiful and elegant cars of the mid 1950s. It is also the very
last year that these elegant cars would be manufactured/engineered
by the Packard Plant in Michigan. This car is beautifully styled
and very well engineered for its time. Everywhere you look there is
something nice to look at...beautiful colors, trim, lines, hood
ornament - it's quite a work a art! It can also handle today's
modern roads and speeds, thanks to the power of the 374ci V8 engine
and the Ultra-Matic Transmission, which was the most modern
automatic transmission of its day. This Packard was owned by a
fellow enthusiast for many years before my parents acquired it. It
is a very nice lower mileage original survivor type that has not
been totally restored. It was serviced, repaired as needed, at some
point re-painted, kept indoors, and lovingly cared for. This car
will be a treasure for your family to own for years to come and a
great long term investment too. Only 3,375 of these were ever made!
Very rare car to see around today. Details/Features: 374ci V8

Recent tune up, check up, service The original engine runs great
and has very good power for a car of this year. The transmission
shifts and operates well. It has a working speedometer, volt gauge,
temperature gauge, headlights, directional signals and rear running
lights. The car runs and starts exceptionally well, and with the PS
and PB, it will be very easy for anyone to drive. The Ultra-Matic
Transmission has an early type of overdrive in the form of a lock
up.
