This ultra-high specification 911S was purchased by European
Collectibles early in 2019 from a PCA enthusiast who had owned it
since 1987. During his long ownership, mechanical care had been
entrusted to noted Porsche specialist, Reid Vann, of Rock Hill, MO.
After arrival at European Collectibles a comprehensive restoration
was carried out that included all cosmetics and mechanical systems
including the costly air-conditioning system, which currently blows
very cold. For the interior, some liberties were taken in an effort
to make a more luxurious cabin. Those liberties included the
selection of Pepita seat inserts, Wilton Wool carpets and leather
on all interior surfaces that would normally have been covered in
vinyl (dash strip, door panels, rear package shelf, etc). A black
headliner was also selected. The car was immediately sold and spent
time in Colorado and Wisconsin where it accrued a few thousand
miles. This is a matching numbers Porsche (confirmed by Porsche
Classic Technical Certification) that was beautifully restored and
is presented in its original color combination and with all of its
desirable options still in place.
