Vehicle Description
This 1965 Ford F-100 is a cool pro street machine with a dual-quad
big block, four-on-the-floor, an upgraded suspension, and a
custom/comfy interior. But none of that is what made you stop and
stare. Instead, it's the full bright style that makes this power
pickup a true Purple People Eater.
This one makes sure you know it's a full custom build from every
angle. The big air grabber in the hood draws as much attention as
the mirror-like shine of the front bumper and grille. Of course,
what's really striking is the paint. There is an awesome level of
metallic flake in the finish. So you get a bold purple color as a
base, and the moment any light finds this truck, it explodes with
radiance. It makes for the kind of luster that can draw attention
day or night. And cool copper is accenting that's airbrushed down
the side like trim. It goes well with the cobra graphic and 501
callouts on the hood scoop. This full shining package also extends
to the Weld Racing alloy wheels. The reason for this is to draw
added attention to how massively tubbed the rear end is. And you'll
appreciate even the little things, like how well the side exhaust
tips are integrated into the body and how this keeps a touch of
vintage style with the real wood in the truck bed. It all makes for
a thoughtful appearance that also revels in being the
instigator.
The interior continues the custom flair with plenty of polished
components and metallic purple. But the real focus here is about
providing comfort. You have late-model seats that give you two
comfortable buckets finished in supple leather. This also has
fold-down armrests, large headrests, and a jump seat that folds
down into a cup holder console. The gray carpeting, suede-like
headliner, smooth dash, and two-tone door panels make for a
thoughtful and inviting package. There are nice extras like the
AM/FM/CD stereo with USB input, tinted windows, sliding rear glass,
and control for the rear air ride suspension. And of course, a
setup like this was made to be a solid driver. So you have a custom
wood-rimmed sports steering wheel, a billet tilt column, a Hurst
floor shifter, and full gauges with a large speedo and tach.
The radiant purple extends to the engine bay with the inner wall
and big air grabber, but what really has your attention is all the
power that's packed under the hood. This is a 501 cubic-inch
stroker big block. That's a ton of V8 muscle all on its own, but
there's much more with this build. It's enhanced further with dual
Holley four-barrel carburetors, a Weiand high rise intake, and
custom heat-wrapped headers. It's supported by the right pieces,
like an MSD 6AL full ignition system, a Mr. Gasket fuel pressure
regulator, and an aluminum radiator with electric fans. This is a
powerful motor with a terrific rumble, and you even have the option
to bring some serious thunder with the electric cutouts. The
four-speed manual transmission gives you full control over the
motor's power and soundtrack, and it feeds into a stout 9-inch
rear. Plus, the upgraded four-link rear with diagonal link and the
extra-wide Mickey Thompson tires make sure the power meets the
pavement. And because a pro street custom is meant to be driven on
the streets, you have useful upgrades like an independent front
suspension, power steering, and power brakes with front discs.
This custom truck has an award-worthy level of style and a
track-worthy level of power. That makes for an awesome pro street
pickup that you just know belongs in your garage. Call today!!!
