For Sale: 2001 Toyota MR2 in Kentwood, Michigan

The MR2 was built over three different generations or platforms from 1984 through 2007. It was initially derived from a 1976 design project for a car which was enjoyable to drive...... a small, economical sports car. It was Japans first rear mid-engined production car. The third generation of MR2 was marketed as the MRS in Japan, the MR2 Spyder in the US and MR2 Roadster in Europe. This particular Spunky little Roadster has been owned by a retired General Motors Corporation Mechanic for the last eleven years. The consignor states that the car has not seen snow or salt ever. He claims that the car has been very well maintained in his car using Mobile 1 oil, has new Michelin tires, new struts and brakes on all four corners with a new Optima battery in 2021. He also states that he did the exhaust modification himself using all stainless parts.

This is a nice clean modification and its sounds awesome. Car comes with a clean carfax, original owners manuals, both sets of keys and fobs, Mechanics manual and detailed log book from the last eleven years. This is a really clean unmolested MR2 with decent miles that is Mechanically sound. I personally have driven these cars and they are super fun to drive and extremely well balanced. There are no funky odors, leaks or smoke .
