Frickin awesome! This street beast looks, sounds and feels
incredible. Not a term I use often but this is a "no expense
spared" restoration. Several pounds of receipts and specs. It was
said over $150,000 invested. It is obvious that the guy had this
built was meticulous. Not just a lot of money and time were
invested but it was very well thought out. The end result is one of
the most exciting Camaros I've seen.
EXTERIOR: Stunning combination of colors, stance and wheels. It was
body off the frame restored, taken down to a bare shell. We have
pictures. No rust or damage, it is arrow straight and gaps are
right. It has a 4 inch fiberglass cowl hood and spoilers. The
Daytona Yellow paint is polished like glass. The stripes are smooth
to the touch. It has the exterior trim package which includes 1/4
panel louvers, wheel well and gutter trim. All of the exterior trim
has been replaced including the emblems, mirrors, bumpers, marker
lights, moldings, grill, lenses etc. The vinyl top is still like
new. Weatherstrips and seals were replaced. 18 inch, highly
polished wheels with performance G force tires, fatter in back.
INTERIOR: It is just as cool and meticulous inside. It was gutted
and completely restored. The houndstooth seats and roll bar look
great!New wiring harness. The entire dash area is restored: new
dash pad, instrument panel, vents, heater control panel, ashtray
and lighter, glovebox liner etc. It has full set of factory gauges,
tachometer and clock. It also has a Monster Tachometer. New center
console with an updated 5-speed indicator. New carpet, door panels,
armrests, headliner etc. The seats were recushioned and upholstered
with deluxe houndstooth. upholstery. I'm typically not a fan of
roll bars but this one adds to this car's image. It is nicely
installed, chroned and the back seat is still usable. It has a
retro stereo system with a CD changer. All new reproduction seat
belts. It has a cushion grip wheel on a tilt column.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This is where it gets real exciting, a 540-600+
hp big block! They started with a GM Performance bare block and
built it using the best parts. Lunati billet rods, Pro Dome
pistons, ARP bolts, Crane Powermax roller cam, Manley springs etc.
On top is a set of aluminum heads, high rise intake, dual feed
carb, nitrous system, MSD ignition. The fuel system has all premium
components- fittings, stainless braided lines, regulator etc. I
don't know much about nitrous but this has a premium set up. Custom
Hustler headers with fat pipes and collectors. The front of the
motor has polished brackets, timing cover, alternator, water pump,
pulleys and a serpentine belt. It has a hydroboost power steering
and brake system. A BeCool aluminum radiator with dual electric
fans keep it cool. Every thing is detailed and neatly installed.
Sharp looking cast aluminum valve covers. It's complete down to
windshield squirters.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Rust free metal neatly spatter painted. It's
full of goodies. There is a nitrous bottle is neatly mounted and
has a stainless braided line. The battery is relocated to the trunk
with a billet hold down and has a disconnect. It also has a chrome
fire extinguisher, fuel tank vent and a CD changer. The
weatherstrip and rear seat insulation was replaced. The bottom of
the trunk lid and jamb are painted glossy.
UNDERSIDE: Hotchkis suspension. Upfront it has tubular control
arms, coilover adjustable gas shocks and upgraded sway bar. All the
bushings and steering components were replaced. Frame connectors
tie the front to the back. In back the leaf springs, bushings and
hardware were replaced. It has traction bars and polished
adjustable gas shocks. Upgraded Baer brake system with drilled and
slotted rotors. Brake lines, braided hoses and e-brake assembly
were replaced. Custom fuel system including a stainless tank with
Moroso sump kit. It has premium fittings, stainless braided hoses
and Holley pump. 3 inch powder coated exhaust with premium clamps
and Flowmaster mufflers. Custom Looking up at the motor it has an
extra capacity oil pan, high torque starter and a remote oil
filter. It has a steel flywheel, dual friction clutch and a heavy
duty Lakewood scatter shield. Blueprinted Keisler Tremec 5-speed
Custom Denny's Driveshaft with a safety loop. Rebuilt 12 bolt posi
rear with aluminum cover. All metal floors, no rust.
This was not built to be raced, it was built to be one of the
baddest cars on the street. It has obviously been really well cared
for, ready for any car show. Get behind the wheel and fire it up,
all the day's stress will be forgotten! This one stands out, even
amongst other cool cars.
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure
your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do
a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a
particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car.
Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you
will be given a 1 year membership.
