This incredibly clean 1982 W123 300 turbo diesel is an instant classic that showcases the glory days of no nonsense German engineering. Our beautiful 1982 example is a testament to superior engineering and quality, over 40 after this vehicle rolled off the assembly line in Sindelfingen, Germany it is still turn-key and go! Our 300TD has been locally owned since it was purchased by it's original owner in 1982 from Mercedes-Benz of Virginia Beach (Phillip's Mercedes at that time) since then it has only changed hands once. The second owner acquired the vehicle from the original owner in 1994 with 111,000 miles and has cared for it every since. The second owner has only put a little over 40k miles on the vehicle in over 25 years, DMV and inspection records indicate mileage is true and accurate over the years. General maintenance and upkeep was performed throughout his ownership as well as a fresh coat of factory matched Thistle green metallic paint! All electrical components are functioning correctly at this time (windows, wipers, sunroof, antenna, interior & exterior lights, and even the original Becker radio and speakers operate like new). Mechanically the vehicle runs and drives very well. However, this is an all original 40 year old vehicle some minor oil leaks are to be expected. The defroster works properly but the a/c is questionable and may need to be serviced or replaced. Rust can also be a huge issue for any W123 but not this one, it is about as clean as they come, with only one small area near the back glass that show a few minor bubbles. All in all this is a solid and well cared for vehicle for any Euro car enthusiast or someone who just wants to drive something you don't see on the road everyday.
