Description:
This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro convertible was acquired by the current
owner in 2009 and subsequently modified during a multi-year custom
build performed by Muscle Express of Jupiter, Florida. Work
included the installation of a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 equipped with a
Concept One Pulleys pulley system, Black Label fuel rails, a
Speartech ECU, a Classic Update wiring harness, and a dual exhaust
system with Hooker headers and Dynomax mufflers. A Tremec TKO
five-speed manual transmission was also installed, and additional
equipment includes an Eaton Positraction Moser rear axle, a black
soft top, Baer disc brakes, Detroit Speed front and rear suspension
assemblies, and 18? Forgeline wheels. The body was fitted with
mini-tubbed rear wheel wells and repainted black while the interior
features heated front bucket seats, Vintage Air climate control, an
aftermarket sound system, and a custom-fabricated stability cage.
This modified Camaro convertible is now offered on dealer
consignment with build records and a clean Florida title.
The body was stripped to bare metal by Muscle Express of Jupiter,
Florida in 2010 and subsequently repainted black following
replacement of the driver-side rocker panel, quarter panels, inner
fenders, tail panel, floor pans, and frame rails. The rear wheel
wells were mini-tubbed to accommodate the lowered rear suspension
and oversized wheels. The soft top frame was also refurbished, and
the car has been fitted with a custom-fabricated hood release
assembly, LED lighting, gas-lift hood supports, billet trim, and
replacement hardware, weatherstripping, and glass. Additional
features include a front spoiler, a chrome rear bumper, fog lights,
and hide-away headlamps.
Gray-finished 18? Forgeline wheels feature chrome lips and are
mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires that measure 245/40 up
front and 315/30 in the rear. The car features power steering, and
modifications include a Detroit Speed Front Speed Kit 2 suspension,
a Detroit Speed QuadraLink lowered rear suspension, and a Baer
braking system that features drilled and slotted rotors at all four
corners.

Please check your local state inspection requirements. We do our
best to inspect these vehicles in every detail and note any
imperfections in the advertisement. Please note that we do not
guarantee any air conditioning systems, gauges, or electrical

components will need upkeep or attention. In addition, many times
these vehicles sit for long periods of time and once you begin to
drive them seals harden and gaskets may begin to leak! Classic cars
leak. Please make sure you are comfortable with this before buying
a vintage automobile. The information contained in this ad is

should not be considered a complete description of any or all
faults; it may not be relied upon nor taken as fact or otherwise a
