The first of only 4 built, this exceptional Estate Wagon is
finished Sand over Sable with Tan hides as when it was featured as
the 1959 New York Show Car. This is the much photographed
automobile shown in many publications with Harold Radford himself
at the wheel.
In 2003 it was the subject of a no effort spared, painstaking
restoration at which time original "new old stock" air conditioning
was installed and the custom built gun case per the Radford
Countryman options list was fabricated. Shown for the first time
ever at the 2004 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance commemorating the
100 year Anniversary of the Company, it captured the 2nd place
Class Award even though in the opinion of many it was superior in
condition and execution to the 1st Place Winner (also a Vantage
Motorworks restoration). It also took a RROC Concours Class Award
the following week at the national meet in Monterey, California and
won its class at the 2007 Naples, Florida Concours d'Elegance.
This mechanically superb, completely refurbished and well
maintained example will likely require no further attention to any
aspect for years to come. Complete books and tools accompany the
vehicle along with the extensive factory history, restoration files
and FIVA certification certificate.
This vehicle, still in Concours condition, may be viewed by
appointment in Florence, Italy.
