This exceptional Camaro Super Sport is 1 of only 32 special edition
dealership cars commissioned by lifetime Chevrolet enthusiast Tom
G. Henry. Built by the pros at GMMG, and sold through Tom Henry
Racing of Bakerstown, Pennsylvania, it backs hot LS power with a
smooth 4-speed, a track-ready suspension and menacing aesthetics
that exemplify the urbane savagery of '90s automotive design. In
addition to being an immaculately maintained time capsule that's
rolled just 7,488 miles, the car is 1 of only 3 Tom Henry Racing
Camaros fitted with an automatic transmission, and the ONLY Tom
Henry Racing Camaro with Arctic White paint and a Neutral leather
interior. Whether you're a serious Chevrolet collector who's
looking to pick up a unique piece of modern muscle, or just a
diehard pony car fan that's looking for the absolute best of the
analog era, this beast is built to please!
Beginning his lifelong automotive career sweeping floors in dad Tom
B. Henry's Chevrolet dealership, Tom G. Henry was pretty much born
a Chevy man. At age 16 he was driving a 1964 Sting Ray the firm
took in for trade and, by age 18, he had borrowed enough cash from
his dad to order a brand new 1972 Corvette coupe. That LT1/4-speed
car, a classic Tom still enjoys today, accompanied him to Northwood
University, where he earned degrees in Automotive Marketing and
Business Management, and, by 1975, he was back at the dealership
working as a Service Writer. After about a decade of working their
way through the ranks, Tom and his sister Sue took the reins to the
family business and, by 1998, Tom had formed Tom Henry Racing as a
performance subsidiary. The initial goal of Tom Henry Racing was to
sponsor Corvette racers Scotty White and Rick Doria, but, by 2001,
the outfit was peddling its own professionally upfitted Chevies.
One of the most memorable Tom Henry Racing programs was the 32
Camaros created in partnership with GMMG. Spanning the final two
years of F4 Camaro production, Tom Henry Racing and GMMG created a
wide variety of made-to-order pony cars that back big power and
great performance with excellent style and hardcore
exclusivity.
