This two-door coupe features a strong, stately styling that is reminiscent of a simpler era. V8 engine that is mated with a Ford Top Loader 4-Speed transmission that offers an impressive 425 horsepower, this charming coupe is eager to get out on the road for an enjoyable driving experience.

This car was built as a tribute to Don Nicholson's original 1964 drag car. All aspects of the actual building of the car in 1964 have been duplicated. All Ford part numbers were used when locating and purchasing the various parts to build the car exactly as they did originally. I have many photos documenting the building of the car as well as Don Nicholson singing the hood in 2001. He said that he was very impressed by the amount of detail used in building the car as it brought back many good memories for him. This car needs to be seen up close to fully appreciate the accuracy of all the period correct details. This 1964 Mercury Comet Caliente A/FX Light Weight Recreation comes with a plethora of options and features that are perfect for any true classic car enthusiast.
