Everybody knows the Fox body Mustangs are really starting to come
into their own so get yours before the next big price jump. If
you're going to buy one you might as well get a GT convertible! A
five-speed would make it even better.
This 1988 Mustang GT convertible has covered only 77,700 mi since
new. It comes with a clean Carfax. It runs and drives just as it
should. It sounds great and the transmission shifts
beautifully.
It has been repainted in it's original Cabernet Red. The interior
is a very complementary tan with cloth inserts in the seats which
is a nice option to have on a sunny day with the top down. The
upholstery is in excellent condition. There are no cracks in the
dash
With the exception of some sagging beneath the rear window the
power top is in excellent condition and works properly.
Under the hood is correct and tidy. New plug wires and cap.
It's the perfect time of the year to buy classic Mustang. With the
value of these cars going nowhere but up you should grab one now,
enjoy the beautiful Spring weather. This GT with it's 5.0 V8 and
smooth shifting five-speed transmission is a good performer and an
easy to live with car. Since it is an antique now it is even cheap
to insure.
