This is a real 1930 all steel Ford. Same owner the last 20 years,
it has been very well cared for. Body off frame custom build that
looks and functions great! Seats 4 comfortably.
EXTERIOR: Real 1930 Henry Ford Briggs steel body and fenders.
Redone 30 years ago and it still looks great! That says it's a good
solid body. No damage or rust. The panels are straight, doors shut
nice. Custom made door hinges are not exposed. The roof was chopped
and filled in with ribbed metal. The gas cap was filled in on the
cowl and relocated to the back with a fush mount cover. The fuel
door opens from inside the car. It has tri-bar headlights, cowl
lights, original style taillights and a flush mount 3rd brake
light. The windshield still swings out. All the windows were
replaced with smoked glass. In the video I said all 4 windows are
power, only the 2 in front go down. The paint is smooth and very
glossy. The fenders have a good amount of sparkle. Smoked glass all
around. The bumpers were removed. The chrome is excellent. The 17
inch Torque Thrust wheels are polished bright and are wrapped in
Nitto performance tires.
INTERIOR: Completely upholstered in gray tweed. It has custom
sculpting on the door panels and headliner. Front bucket seats are
adjustable, back seat folds down to get to some storage space. 4
adults fit comfortably. There's seat belts for everyone. The dash
is painted gloss black. The chrome instrument bezel has a matching
set of custom gauges. The stereo has been upgraded with a Bluetooth
Kenwood. The leather wrapped steering wheel is on a tilt column. On
the floor are custom pedals, shifter and a chrome Lokar
e-brake.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Strong running 350 has an aluminum intake,
Edelbrock carb, HEI ignition and coated headers. It is dressed up
with a matched set of polished aluminum valve covers, breathers,
air cleaner, bracket and plug wire holders. The alternator is
polished. It runs cool with an aluminum radiator and overflow
bottle, stainless hose and an electric fan. The engine bay is
painted smooth and glossy.
UNDERSIDE: The frame is boxed and painted the color of the car. In
front it has a tubular dropped axle, a transverse leaf spring,
chrome shocks and tubular trailing arms. In back it has a Corvette
independent suspension with tubular control arms, aluminum axle
shafts and a transverse leaf spring. Disc brakes at all four wheels
with braided stainless hoses. It has a stainless steel dual exhaust
with Edelbrock polished mufflers and a billet bracket holding the
tail pipes. Custom made fuel tank. The oil pan is clean, it has a
high torque starter and remote oil filter. The Turbo 350 automatic
trans has a remote oil cooler. Solid metal floors.
This is a turnkey hot rod ready to be enjoyed. Not a fiberglass
reproduction, this is a 92 year old Model A made into a cool hot
rod!
