1991 Geo Metro Convertible (Please note: If you happen to be
viewing this 1991 Geo Metro Convertible on a website other than our
Garage Kept Motors site, it's possible that you've only seen some
of our many photographs of the car due to third-party website
limitations. To be sure you access all the more than 200
photographs, as well as a short start-up and walk-around video,
please go to our main website: GKM.com) The cheapest new
convertible Americans could buy in the early 1990s. €" AutoBlog,
October 2021 Offered here is a 1991 Geo Metro LSi in yellow over
gray with yellow accents, under a black fabric top. The current
odometer reading is 44,888 miles. The car has been very well
maintained, especially for a car normally acquired to pile up the
energy-efficient miles. The yellow paint finish which is a complete
repaint, shows very well with only a few imperfections from normal
use. Gloss is excellent and there is no body damage on the sheet
metal. Black accent stripes grace the flanks of the car. The black
fabric convertible top fits properly and is free of rips and tears.
Black body trim on the window glass, door handles, mirror caps,
rear-deck luggage rack, and taillight trim shows well. Windshield
and cabin glass is clear and free of cracks; lighting lenses are
similarly undamaged. Factory badging is all in place including a
Geo-trademark emblem (with Chevrolet bowtie) in front, Metro LSi
front-fender badges, and both Geo and Metro LSi model
identification on the rear deck. Gold, Riken 13-inch wheels add a
little flair to the exterior. The 2-seater's interior upholstery is
a pleasant two-tone gray accented with yellow trim. Bucket seats
wear dark and light gray fabric with the latter displaying a
horizontal-stripe pattern. Door trim uses the same fabric but with
a vertical-stripe look trimmed in gray vinyl. Charcoal-gray cabin
carpeting is protected with black rubber mats. The 4-spoke
Geo-branded black steering wheel fronts the simple black dashboard.
Instrumentation includes speedometer, tachometer,
engine-coolant-temperature gauge, and fuel gauge. The center stack
features the heating and ventilation controls as well as the stock,
Delco-branded audio system. Cupholders, the handbrake lever, and
the shift lever for the 5-speed manual transmission are mounted on
the console. Under the hood, the 55-horsepower, 1.0-liter,
transversely mounted, inline 3-cylinder is clean with all
components properly in place. Surfaces appear original. There are
no evident modifications to the car's powertrain. Viewed from
below, the car's chassis is clean and free of damage. A newer
muffler is mounted. While the more than 200 high-definition
photographs and the short walk-around-and-startup video available
on the GarageKeptMotors website showcase this '91 Geo Metro in
detail from every angle, including from below, we expect and
encourage in-person inspections at our Grand Rapids, Michigan
showroom. Please call to arrange an appointment in advance as our
showroom is not open to the public. And feel free to get in touch
anytime by phone or email if you have questions. With high gas
prices in the early Nineties, the Geo Metro made a good choice for
college students or in-town commuters, and the convertible top made
it fun, too. What goes around, comes around; high-mileage is very
much back in style! Cargo Cover,Power Brakes,Front Airbags - Driver
