Vehicle Description
1996 Cadillac Fleetwood Limo (Please note: If you happen to be
viewing this 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood Limousine on a website other
than our Garage Kept Motors site, it's possible that you've only
seen some of our many photographs of the limo due to third-party
website limitations. To be sure you access all the more than 240
photographs, as well as a short start-up and walk-around video,
please go to our main website: GKM.com) Offered here is a 1996
Cadillac Fleetwood Limousine in black (code 41) over light blue
under a black vinyl roof. Crafted by Superior Coaches of Lima,
Ohio, the largest manufacturer of its kind in the country, this
full-size, 6-door, Cadillac Fleetwood automobile is a properly
created limousine. The car's Service Parts Identification sticker
remains mounted showing 57 separate General Motors RPO codes. The
current odometer reading is 25,741 miles. Model year 1996 was the
final year of the full-size Cadillac Fleetwood. Black paint covers
the expansive body which is accented by a double-gray pin stripe
which accents the upper flanks while a rub-strip and wide
body-panel appliques in chrome do the same on the lower portion.
The black vinyl roof shows well. Cabin glass-very darkly tinted in
the passenger compartment for privacy-is in very nice condition;
all lighting lenses are in similar condition. The chrome bumpers,
grille trim, and cabin-glass trim is all in very well-maintained
condition with negligible imperfections. Badging includes the
Cadillac-crest hood ornament, Fleetwood identification on the front
doors, Superior-script emblem on the C-Pillar, and again on the
trunk lid across from the Cadillac Mastercrafted by Superior
Coaches emblem, with another Cadillac crest in the center. The
Cadillac-crest-embossed 15-inch factory wheels are mounted with
new, whitewall-with-gold-stripe touring tires. The limousine's
3-row interior is as impressive as the exterior, and from the
condition of all surfaces, strongly suggests very restrained use
through the years; this Cadillac has served as a true limo, not an
airport-transport vehicle. The square-pattern, dove-gray leather
upholstery on all seating surfaces-including the rear-facing
second-row-has been properly cared for; only light, expected
creasing is evident. Light-blue carpeting (with carpet mats) shows
only some indications of staining, but no serious wear. Door
trim-also in light blue-includes handsome, burled-woodgrain trim
and blue carpet inserts on the kick panels. Auxiliary air
conditioning was mounted in the rear passenger compartment by the
coachbuilder. The 4-spoke Cadillac-branded steering wheel frames
the stock Fleetwood digital instrument cluster and dashboard. A
touchscreen and Bluetooth-enabled audio system are located in the
center stack below the interior climate controls (including
separate controls for the rear-passenger air conditioning). The
shift lever for the automatic transmission is mounted on the
steering column. The car's trunk is clean and tidy. Under the hood,
the 5.7-liter GM Port Fuel-Injected V8 commands a virtually stock
engine bay: clean, orderly, and complete. (The Service Parts
Identification tag is mounted here.) Viewed from below, the
extended chassis is free of damage. The limousine's original
identification tags, added conversion information, and the full
complement of owner literature (including a VHS videotape
presentation) is included in the sale. While the more than 240
high-definition photographs and the short walk-around-and-startup
video available on the GarageKeptMotors website showcase this '96
Cadillac Fleetwood Limo in detail from every angle, including from
below, we expect and encourage in-person inspections at our Grand
Rapids, Michigan showroom. Please call to arrange an appointment in
advance as our showroom is not open to the public. And feel free to
get in touch anytime by phone or email if you have questions.
