Few Gran Torino's compare to this 1972 Gran Torino Sport fresh in
at I-95 Muscle! For the 1972 model year, the Torino was redesigned
using many characteristics carried over from the previous
generation. This emphasized the "long hood short deck" look and had
strong elements of coke bottle styling. The Torino line-up was
revamped with three models: Torino, Gran Torino and top of the line
Gran Torino Sport. The most radical change was a large eggcrate
grille in an oval opening on Gran Torino's. This particular Torino
has a 400 CI, 6.6L big block mated to a three speed automatic
transmission. The bright red paint absolutely glistens in the sun
light and the yellow sport stripping with the black vinyl top is
the icing on the cake! The black leather interior with red GTS
stitching in the head rests and red bolstering on the rest of the
interior is nearly flawless! We couldn't tell you the last time we
had or even saw a Gran Torino Sport, unless you watch the 4th Fast
& Furious movie... But this one wont last long! So make sure you
call, click, or stop by today! Financing is available and trades
are welcome.
