EXTERIOR

The tasteful exterior customizations on this well preserved time capsule include removing all badging and body trim. The car was then resprayed in the correct factory white, that was then ceramic coated in the correct five step process to preserve its luster. We also added a tasteful black-gold double pin stripe. All window glass is good, chrome bumpers are factory shiny, roof rack is good condition.  All new halogen headlight and tail light kit, plus LED chin spoiler cowl lights. The original headlights and tail lights are saved and come with the car if you want them.

WHEELS/TIRES

Brand new 17 inch American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels, and 255/70/R17 Hankook Dynapro II sport radial tires were just added. Almost no miles on this wheel/tire package.

INTERIOR

All original dash, seats, carpets, door panels, and headliner are in excellent condition. This low mileage SUV was definitely babied over its life, showing very little wear. All dash features, gauges, front and rear climate control, window and seat motors, heated rearview mirrors, courtesy lights, etc. are functional.

Audio upgrade includes a Jensen 240 watt, 9-inch touchscreen multimedia receiver with Bluetooth, USB, push-to-talk voice access, 8-band graphic EQ, speaker upgrades, and Boss subwoofer. The installation was done by a pro audio shop and NO cuts were made. I also have the original Delco stereo in case buyer wants to return to stock stereo.

MECHANICAL

The drive train and suspension have been gone through from stem to stern, with hoses, belts, wires, gaskets, and fluids changed as needed. New R134 AC system, water pump, fuel pump, power steering pump. New brakes all around, new master cylinder. New battery, new Delco air shocks. New upper control arms and bushings, Pittman arm, engine and transmission mounts, and transmission tail shaft.

Suspension lowered by a professional shop, with a 3-inch coil spring drop in the front and a 2-inch drop in the rear using lowering shackles. No cuts! The result is a subtle 'California rake', a slightly forward-leaning stance, great road visibility..

Custom cold air intake and upgraded fuel injection system have turned this slick Yukon into a bit of a hot rod. The truck is very fast. Upgraded Flow Master exhaust adds a nice subtle rumble. Undercarriage and engine bay are ASTONISHINGLY clean and rust free as photos show, with some still-glossy factory paint and factory chalk marks! The vehicle is essentially in showroom condition. It meets California emission standards.

INVESTMENT

Dependable daily driver, roomy road trip cruiser. Factory OBD (On Board Diagnostics, beginning in 1996) make mechanical issues easy to diagnose. Parts for these super popular SUV's are readily available and will be for years. Given that a new Yukon or Tahoe can go for $65k to $80k and will depreciate rapidly, buyers are now turning to low-mileage, fully restored late 1990's Yukons and Tahoes, which are going UP in value, not down. I know, having restored over 60 modern classics for clients worldwide. Now's the time.
