Let me start with this. If you get pulled over in this car you are not talking your way out of a ticket. This red Corvette Grand Sport 2LT really looks the part. With the sleek, sharp design of the C7 platform along with the car’s Torch Red paint and black accents, this Corvette really draws attention. And with a 460hp LT1 engine and 8-speed automatic transmission, it is plenty capable as well.
The Grand Sport package is a great combination of the base Stingray’s road manners and the Z06 wide-body looks. And with a removable carbon fiber roof panel that is lighter than its fiberglass predecessors, you can enjoy open-air motoring at any time. This one-owner car looks especially aggressive with its Z06 aero pieces, tinted windows, and carbon flash badging. It also has factory black aluminum wheels (19x10” front, 20x12” rear) and black calipers. Note this car also wears four brand new Continental Extreme Contact tires.
The Grand Sport performance starts with the LT1 direct injection engine producing 460 horsepower and 465 lb-ft or torque. This is coupled Chevrolet’s 8L90 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters followed by a 2.73 performance rear end with electronic limited slip. Handling is exceptional thanks to the wider Grand Sport track width and tires. Things are enhanced further through the Z16 package with performance upgrades to the springs, stabilizer bars, shocks, and brakes.
The Jet Black interior is the perfect fit for the exterior. The leather bucket seats feature 8-way power adjusters with bolster and lumbar, and are also heated and ventilated as part of the 2LT package. There is no reason to not be comfortable in this car! There is also a power tilt / telescoping steering column with a leather wrapped flat bottom steering wheel plus a color head-up display. The Bose 10-speaker audio system offers great sound with Bluetooth and smart phone compatibility. It is controlled through an 8” color touch screen that can also display the four external camera views.
