Vehicle Description
This 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 has been restored to give you the
classic look you love and the upgrades you really want. That means
terrific factory colors, an enhanced V8 power, and a five-speed to
let you enjoy it all.
The included Marti Report confirms this was born in Dark Ivy Green.
And we just love a good deep Green pony car because we all can't
help but think of Steve McQueen. The car has a quality style, and
we were even told it completed a comprehensive restoration only
about six years ago. That gives it a detail-oriented appearance
that also is ready to drive. In fact, as you look through the whole
car, you can see the restoration's main aim was to deliver an even
more fun driving coupe. The dark tone of the green lets the
brightwork features such as bumpers and Mag 500 wheels stand out
even more. The 1970 Mustang was a single-year distinct design, and
the sleek Mach 1 was arguably the best looking of them all. After
all, it mixed the slick sports back profile with beefy features,
like the large air scoop, deep chin spoiler, hood twist locks, and
large rear spoiler. Plus, the full hood stripe package and
blacked-out rear panel combine with the dark tones of the color to
give this an even meaner style.
We love it when the exterior accent color is a preview of the
inside color. All the right stock pieces are still in place, from
the comfort weave bucket seats to the wood-like trim on the doors
and dash. But you can also tell there have been some nice upgrades
along the way. For example, the center console is now a modern unit
with a tall armrest and cup holders. The AM radio has been replaced
with a retro-style AM/FM stereo with Bluetooth for more modern
driving music. The steering wheel now feels great with a
wood-rimmed unit that's on an adjustable steering column. And the
column-mounted sun pro tach goes great with the Hurst floor
shifter.
You can tell there have been some nice investments in the engine
bay. It has some good flair with polished components including
valve covers and air grabber. Even the newer aluminum radiator has
a good polish. This was born with Ford's mighty 351 cubic-inch V8,
and so it's nice to still have that displacement under the hood
today. But you can also see it's a more potent powerhouse with a
newer Holley four-barrel carburetor, Weiand intake, and dual
exhaust with Thrush mufflers. This is an awesome powerhouse, and
the upgrade to a Tremec T5 five-speed manual transmission means you
get an extra gear to take better control over it all. You also have
power steering, power brakes, front discs, and wide Cooper Cobra
tires for an all-around nice driving package.
Complete with Marti Report, this is a stylish and upgraded Mustang
Mach 1 that is ready to be the distinct cruiser that offers extra
fun. Don't miss out, call today!
