This 1989 Ford F-250 Custom is a rust free and very clean low
mileage truck that spent its life in Colorado and New Mexico. This
is a very well kept and well maintained truck and it shows. We
rarely get these trucks in with low original miles like this. The
body on this truck is straight and clean and it still has most of
its original paint. The hod was painted at some point. The truck is
in really nice original condition and the white paint still looks
great!! The original chrome and trim is still really nice and the
underside is very clean. This truck has no rust issues.
The interior is also extremely nice and it is all original with the
exception of the radio. Even the original seat and original floor
mat are still in excellent original condition which backs up the
low mileage as well. The headlights, taillights, brake lights, and
turn signals are all working. All of the gauges work along with the
heat and AC. The wipers and the horn are also working. It is just a
really nice original interior.
Mechanically this truck is top notch and it runs and drives
excellent. The engine is the original 7.5L 460 V8 that runs strong
and smooth and we found no issues or red flags with it. It appears
to be all stock and it recently had a new alternator installed. The
transmission is the Heavy Duty 2F 5 Speed manual that shifts nice
with a strong clutch. It is mated to the Borg Warner Manual
transfer case and the 4WD works like it should. The rear axle is
the Ford 10.25 with 4.10 Gears and it has a limited slip rear. The
front axle is a Dana 44 TTB with 4.a0 gears. This truck is ready to
be used as an everyday driver if you choose.
