114-inch wheelbase and 4,700 GVWR If you're looking for a cool,
classic truck that sounds like a stock car, does burn-outs like
one, yet retains excellent road manners and drivability, then this
just may be the truck for you. A front suspension setup from a
Mustang II, power disc brakes and a rear, C-noted frame form the
foundation of this truck. A race-built 383 CID Stroker V-8 engine,
a Turbo-Hydramatic 400 three-speed automatic transmission with a
Positraction rear were added as the powertrain plus an aluminum
radiator. A new fuse panel and wiring was run before the body and
chassis were re-married. From a Bucheit Automotive build sheet for
a small-block Chevrolet engine has a General Motors 010 block; a
forged steel crankshaft; H-beam connecting rods; JE forged aluminum
pistons with flat tops; Speed-pro piston rings; oil pump; roller
camshaft and more features. The truck?s black exterior has a
lovely, natural patina combined with some blemishes. The bodywork
overall is straight and solid, and the black bumpers fit tightly to
the body. The cargo bed?s new, oaken bed floor has stainless-steel
strips. This truck rolls on newer Toyo Proxes radials, size
235/40R18 in front and 255/45R20 in back. Each tire is mounted to a
custom rim. The tires and rims are all in great shape. This truck
rides on a 114-inch wheelbase and a 4,700 GVWR. Inside is a new
interior with race style, white-stitched steering wheel with quick
release. The black bench seat has corresponding white stitching
with matching door panels. There are new dash inserts and new door
handles and window cranks. There?s also a new headliner, a set of
Dolphin black-faced gauges, a Nardi three-spoke steering wheel and
new carpet. New glass panels were added where needed along with new
seals and weather-stripping. New gauges and a Lokar Shifter
complete the interior. Fuel gauge is working intermittently. This
lowered ratrod Ford is a great mix of both worlds ? classic looks
with modern drivability. Stop by MotoeXotica Classic Cars today to
