This Super Beetle Convertible brought to you by Zoom Classic Cars
was first introduced in1971, and was distinguished by its coil
springs and MacPherson strut front suspension, which allowed a flat
spare tire placement and more luggage space under a taller front
trunk lid. In 1973, the Super Beetle received a number of
modifications. A new updated curved windshield was added. The body
was reinforced to offer side impact protection. Upgraded paint and
larger taillights were also added. Electronically controlled, Bosch
Air Flow Control fuel injection raised the 1,585cc engine's
horsepower to 48 in 1975. Standard features were added such as full
carpeting and a rear window defogger. This fine example features
the popular lemon-yellow paint with a black soft top which is in in
good condition. The beige interior is paired nicely with a
woodgrain dash. It clocks in with ultra-low mileage of just under
39,000. Check out the video of the car driving in a local TV
commercial! The vehicle is located in Southern VA and we are asking
$23,000 OBO. Please contact Hank for more details.
