For Sale is a very tastefully done1972 Ford F100. This truck has
stayed true to a majority of its original heritage while wearing
some subtle modern upgrades that will have you reaching for the
keys as your new daily driver, weekend errand runner, or head
turner at the show!
Exterior:
Cosmetically Restored, this truck has no rust, straight panels, and
beautiful paint in the original color Medium Ginger Metallic. At
the front of the vehicle, you will notice upgraded LED Headlights,
complimented by blemish free chrome front bumper. Down the sides of
the vehicle panel gaps are excellent and the bright work on the
mirrors, door handles, and drip rails are in wonderful shape as
well. The bed remains pristine with a removable rubber mat. A
staggered set of brand New 20-inch US-Mag chrome wheels and a fresh
set of BFGoodrich Tires completes the look!
Interior:
A freshly reupholstered, bench seat in Saddle Brown with tan
inserts and a removable console ads to the versatility. A look to
the dash and we note clear lenses over all of the gauge cluster and
our odometer showcasing an unverified 77,573 miles. The original AM
radio just above the heater control dials are also in great
cosmetic and working condition.
Drivetrain:
The beautifully dressed Ford 360 FE V8 mates to a 3-Speed Automatic
transmission. A Ford 9-inch 3.00 geared rear puts power to the
blacktop.
Undercarriage:
This truck shows exceptionally well underneath with no rust on the
frame, cab floor, or bed floor with note of several new parts and
bushings. Front Disc brakes from (Scarebird Classic Brakes LLC)
have been installed to provide plenty of stopping power to slow
this beauty down with little effort.
A DJM 3inch I-beam lowering kit in the front with the DJM 4inch
lowering kit in the rear. Nice and tidy driver would describe the
undercarriage best.
Drivability:
The engine runs very well, with no hesitation during acceleration.
The transmission shifts smoothly, and around the corners the truck
feels very tight. The interior is comfortable and quiet. All
functions were working during our drive and would note of the big
V8 sings nicely through the dual exhaust.
This is an eye-catching example of the traditional F-100, a
fantastic driver that can show as well as work. Great running,
classic styling, and all clean solid steel.
