For Sale: 1969 Chevrolet Camaro in Charlotte, North Carolina

Vehicle Description

Over the past few years, we've certainly seen some choice pro-tourers. But this slick Camaro, wrapping a stroked BluePrint Engines LS3 in timeless, all-American aesthetics, is certainly one of the coolest! Fully sorted and ready to hit the road, this awesome Chevy combines a whopping 625 dyno-proven horsepower with tailored yet aggressive swagger. And today, thanks to a professional, ground-up build, not only is it a sweet place to cruise the streets, it's also instantly recognizable muscle that could easily rule the front row. Looking for a dreamy classic that simply has it all? This awesome F1 checks every box!

HOW TO TURN HEADS

Buff, bad and ready to rock and roll, this pristine Camaro is the beneficiary of a professional, ground-up build that was completed by Charlotte's own Classic Speed and Custom. That high quality restoration dressed solid sheetmetal in a noble coat of glossy BMW Singapore Gray two-stage. And today, this handsome Chevy walks a fine line between tastefully modern and traditionally conservative.

The car's clean profile flames to life with a shaved Rally Sport grille, which centers a Gloss Black frame between a smoothed bumper, modern parking lamps, a braced spoiler and Flat Black Rally Sport headlights. At the top of that grille, a shaved header leads a familiar Cowl Induction Hood, which shades traditional, Satin Black wipers. Flat Black frames join body-matched drip rails to trace a tinted greenhouse, which gets reflected in modern hot rod mirrors. And shaved side panels, devoid of everything but traditional, Satin Black handles, lead a shaved rear valance that's complemented with a second spoiler, a smoothed bumper, a murdered lock cylinder and billet LED taillights.

HOW TO SPREAD SMILES

Lift the hood and you'll find 427 cubic inches of brutal LS stroker motor that, sourced directly from the pros at BluePrint Engines, twists 625 dyno-proven horsepower into 565 lb./ft. of dyno-proven torque! That aluminum monster eats through a prominent Cold Air Intake, which bends a polished tube behind a conical filter element. That tube fronts an 87mm LT5 DBW throttle body, which fronts a lightweight LS3 intake that's loaded with 42-pound fuel injectors. That intake rides aluminum BluePrint Engines heads, which float nondescript valve covers under an attractive carbon fiber engine cover. Stout 11 to 1 compression gets bumped by a forged crank, forged rods, forged pistons and a spry hydraulic roller cam. Those tough internals funnel spent gases through coated long-tube headers. A big Griffin radiator fronts big electric puller fans. A Billet Specialties Tru Trac serpentine drive spins a trusty Edelbrock water pump between a polished AC compressor and a polished alternator. A roster of first-rate ancillaries includes Moroso wires, a CPP brake booster, a Wilwood master cylinder and Billet Specialties hood supports. And the six-bolt mill rolls in a smoothed and shrouded engine bay that's decked in a sweet combination of Singapore Gray and Satin Black paint.

HOW TO LOG MILES

Take a gander under this cool F-Body and you'll find a battle dressed chassis that mixes new age technology with old school durability. Power drops through a modern Tremec 5-speed, which spins a tough 9-inch axle. Those cogs push a first class Torque Arm Rear Suspension that was sourced directly from the pros at Total Cost Involved. Power rack-and-pinion steering leads a first class Total Cost Involved Pro Touring Independent Front Suspension. Power-assisted Wilwood calipers squeeze 20 pistons around a quartet of drilled and slotted rotors. Large-diameter exhaust swirls spent gases through an H-shaped crossover and polished MagnaFlow mufflers. And at the corners, custom HREs spin 255/35ZR18 BF Goodrich g-Force T/As in front of 315/30ZR18 Toyo Proxes and requisite mini tubs.

HOW TO RIDE IN STYLE

Swing this Chevy's doors and you'll find an exceptional custom cockpit that was installed by some of the best tailors in the industry. Front and center, diamond-stitched buckets stretch Porsche Terracotta leather under thick lap belts. A leather-wrapped dash plants pushbutton ignition beneath an Impala-style instrument panel that features blue-face Classic Instruments telemetry. Custom side panels hang billet handles above blacked out sills, billet foot pedals and tight California Carpet. A custom, full-length console centers a short billet shifter between dials for Vintage Air conditioning and rockers for modern power windows. Kenwood touchscreen audio, professionally installed by Freeman's Car Stereo, bumps crisp Hertz speakers and big JL subwoofers. The driver enjoys the car's power through a flat-bottom Billet Specialties steering wheel, which laps a modern, tilting column. And a plush headliner continues under the car's shaved decklid to cap a fully upholstered trunk.

When it comes to maximizing the amount of metal your money buys, you simply can't go wrong with a purpose-built pro-tourer. Thanks to its exceptional attention to detail, this top dog Chevy is a great driving piece that's fun, unique AND reliable. Looking for an awesome classic that commands respect on both the boulevard and the show field? This choice Camaro is just your style!
