Vehicle Description
As you look over this 1951 Ford F-100, you can see they took the
time to make it a sleeker machine inside and out. But as you keep
digging deeper you'll also discover the upgrades to the interior,
chassis, and fuel-injected V8 power that make it great for more
than just showing off a smooth style.
Orange gets this pickup noticed. The upgraded paint has a glossy
finish that looks terrific in the sunshine. And you'll love the way
the light rolls off this almost totally uninterrupted because of
how everything's made to be so smooth. For example, take a look at
the lighting. The front turning lights, side marker lights, third
brake light above the cab, and the tail lights - they are all
integrated into the body design! Deleted trim, deleted bumpers,
shaved door handles, a flush rear roll pan, fiberglass rear
fenders, and a color-matched grille are all part of the
extra-smooth style of this custom pickup. Even the way they did the
steel bed floor and liner paint makes this look even and uniform.
Plus, the dual exhaust tips, lowered stance, and polished 15-inch
alloys with an extra meaty set let you know this is sporty,
too.
You have push button door openers mounted on the rear side of the
cab for getting both in and out, which is a fun touch. And the
custom dash has a smooth orange to match the exterior. But while
this is very custom, what you might like best is how comfortable it
is. This starts with an upgraded bench seat that is plusher than
anything you got in the 1950s and there's a fold-down armrest. You
also have power windows and a tilt steering column. There are also
provisions for an AM/FM/cassette stereo and R134a air conditioning
(they will both need servicing to work and blow cold again.)
Under the hood is an upgrade to Chevy's hardy 305 cubic-inch V8.
It's built with the pieces you really want, like a serpentine belt
system, a dual master cylinder, and electronic fuel injection. It
even has a roller cam for extra power and a nice tune out of the
exhaust. This is built to be a good driver, and so this rides on a
modified S10 chassis. That means you get benefits like an
independent front end, power steering, power brakes, front discs,
and a three-speed automatic transmission.
Complete with maintenance records, this is the strong custom truck
that also knows how to be a solid all-around driver. So if you want
