This 1991 Mazda MX-5 Miata makes for a terrific classic you can
really drive. It's an affordable and fun drop-top that's loaded
with the best features, given some cool upgrades, and all offered
for an affordable price.
We love the first-gen MX-5 because this has now crossed the 30-year
threshold to be eligible as a true classic in many states. The
Silver Stone Metallic paint shows all the right signs of being the
factory finish. It shows the kind of use you get on an actual
mileage car, but the gloss it shows off today tells you this was
driven with care. In fact, the way the panels align and the pop-up
headlights operate, you can really tell this has been
well-respected. And we also like the tasteful upgrades. The clear
parking lights, polished side mirrors, racing-style gas cap, and
side body kit add to the sporty style. And the wheels are a
particularly nice touch. They have the classic minilite style to
connect them with the classic British roadster inspiration, and the
center caps even have the classic Mazda logo.
The black roof looks great and fits quite well. It has a real
usability that is at the heart of the Miata's appeal when new, and
it continues to be a big draw on this true classic. You can fold it
back with one arm, and they purposely make it easy because a car
like this was made to be open to the world. The black interior
looks great against the silver exterior. It's a terrific driver's
environment with high-back bucket seats, a grippy leather-wrapped
steering wheel with the safety of an airbag, and a full gauge pack
with clear markings and even a touch of chrome around the speedo
and tach. This is a modern roadster, and so you get amenities that
didn't come in the 1960s machines, like cup holders, power
steering, and cold-blowing air conditioning. Plus, this has some
nice upgrades like the cool polished racing-style dual roll hoop
and an AM/FM/CD stereo that features USB and Bluetooth.
The first-generation Miata was all about the purity of the driving
experience. The 1.6-liter DOHC fuel-injected motor was
precision-engineered to rev freely and sound great doing it. And
the five-speed manual transmission puts you in the center of the
action. It's everything you love about the classic European driving
experience, but this time with exceptional reliability. This even
includes a fully independent suspension, four-wheel power disc
brakes, and an upgraded exhaust for a true sports car
experience.
Distinct, nimble, loaded, and absolutely fun... this MX-5 Miata
delivers the classic roadster experience in an irresistibly modern
kind of way. Call today!!!
