1967 Corvette Convertible
Corvette Convertible. I am a private collector. This sale is for those that want the top of the investment food chain - where truly iconic and legendary muscle cars are concerned - who are aware of what this car brings in today's and the future collector car market.
My original search for this specific car of such high calibre integrity took 5 years. This ultra rare optioned roadster is an early build investment grade car, that was frame-off restored in Arizona with integrity, meaning every bolt, screw and part that could be retained from the original car, without placing new NOS parts, were kept to original and refurbished, rather than replaced. Original engine, drivetrain, transmission etc. Authenticated by Arizona Chapter NCRS judge Terry Dunham to NCRS standards as original. Original parallel front to back broach machining lines on original engine pad deck.
This car has speciality collector status plates, meaning it has been authenticated by specialty Insurance providers to have retained minimum 90% original status.
Protectoplate (POP) back to originating owners/dealer in Indiana. Original warranty card still in original plastic sleeve.
Professional certified appraisal conservatively done by long standing Industry respected appraisers (2006): $325,000
"Red Bull" as the car has come to be known is an impeccable example of what the '67 Corvette Stingray 427/435 TriCarb Big Block Roadster, in the 'money colours', should be.
As values for what this particular car represents continue to rise beyond current record setting values, ($500K - $3.5 Mill) it will continue to well represent the most desired and collectable iconic muscle car ... ever !
For those of you not informed of where values of this calibre investment grade '67 are heading towards, read the GM Authority blog 01/2014 entitled 'Another 1967 corvette sells for $3.5 Million sets world record at Barrett Jackson'.
The car is ultra-rare in its options for a 427/435 roadster having Power Brakes, Power Steering, and Power Electric Windows, Black Leather, Original Hardtop and Soft Top.
