Our collection acquired this car in 2019, prior to our ownership this Testarossa was owned and driven by the last owner for 24 years, it was meticulously maintained at an authorized Ferrari center. Under our ownership, in March of 2022, at 26,420 miles it had a major engine out service that included timing belts, bearings, water pump, cam seals, valve cover gaskets, all belts, all filters, all hoses, brake caliper rebuild, and air pump, AC service. As with Ferrari's major service, it had a complete valve adjustment, front and rear crank seals replaced as well as spark plugs, fluids and all associated items with a major service. New clutch and vacuum pump was also replaced at this service. 100% ready to enjoy. Comes with Tubi Stainless Competition Exhaust, Ferrari toolkit and spare. Quite possibly the most comprehensively serviced and aggressively priced Testarossa on the market. Equipped with brand new tires, and a massive comprehensive service, this Testarossa is ready to hit the streets.
This car is in wonderful mechanical, and cosmetic condition. WIth just 26,000 miles, the interior shows beautifully. The beige leather seats and doors show no rips or tears. The brown dash is clean and doesn't show the typical Ferrari shrinkage. The gauges are all clean and operate properly. At some point, a 5 point harness was put in the car, the original lap belts and power shoulder strap still function as they should. The exterior finish is in terrific condition. The CarFax indicates damage in the late 1990's. To what extent is unknown, but the car has been completely sorted and checked over and shows very well. It was most likely some sort of front end as the rear is all original paint. The front passenger side fender and headlight assembly was replaced in 2019 following a minor fender bender (Not on CarFax report). Taken to a very well respected body shop and given an open check to fix it properly. All new Ferrari fender, inner-structure, headlamp assembly and trunk liner were installed. Beautifully metal worked and finished. Invoices and photos available for inspection.
The car runs and drives beautifully. The transmission shifts nicely as the clutch and cylinders were all replaced. The A/C blows cold on those hot Florida days. The wheels and tires are as new, with brand new tires and freshly refinished wheels. The Tubi exhaust sound wonderful and gives a terrific noise in the high RPMs as well as a throaty idle.
