Ranchero. This is the last year of the American built Ford Ranchero
GT and it is definitely Ford tough.
This Ranchero is mostly original and its power plant is a
traditional 351 CID V8 mated to a 4-Speed automatic which shifts
smoothly and as it should. The engine compartment is all stock and
ready for the local car shows and/or cruise nights. This Ranchero
has basically remained stock and presents well. The current owner
states all service has been kept up on this Ford Ranchero and it
drives smooth with no issues. The temperature stays at a constant
190 while driving this excellent example of Ford history.
The interior is in nice original condition the dash has all the
stock gauges and even the clock still works, the gauges are very
clean with no damage. Stock door panels, headliner, carpet,
steering wheel and column shifter keep you in control and are in
very good shape. This 1979 Ford Ranchero is optioned with factory
AC (will need a recharge), cruise, power steering, power brakes,
power windows, power seat, and a split rear window. An
AM/FM/Cassette radio is there for your listening pleasure, unless
you'd rather listen to the sweet sound coming from the dual
exhaust.
This Ford isn't just show and go, it would make a great daily
driver, its rides smooth and provides you with a very comfortable
ride with the over padded seats. .The under carriage of this
Ranchero is clean and it has dual exhaust. The suspension parts
look newer and give a very smooth ride. Out back we have a brand
new spray in bed liner completed this week, so it has years of life
to give the next owner. To complete the look of this Ford it has a
nice color dark brown and has metal accents all over its outer
shell that really make this baby look cool. Magnum 500 wheels add
the finishing touch to this excellent piece of American
history.
