Mechanical
Ours has a stout 383 cubic inch V-8 Engine that fires up with just
the bump of the key and purrs like a kitten with the MSD Fuel
Injection on the aluminum intake and triangular open mesh air
filter. It also has Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Power Brakes,
polished valve covers and alternator, and the small block Chevy
engine is backed by a 4-speed manual transmission.
The chassis has been warmed over with an all CPP Tubular Front
Suspension and Steering Box, a 373 Posi-Traction 10-bolt rear end
with coil-over shocks that puts the power to the ground through
Chrome Mag Wheels and Black Sidewall Tires.
This 66 is ready to cruise and show and is sure to garner a lot of
attention.
Interior
The interior is in excellent condition top to bottom. Black vinyl
front bucket seats and matching rear seats welcome you inside where
you are greeted by a staple in the muscle car world, the Hurst
shifter with white shift knob.
Seat belts are present to keep you and your passengers safe. The
dash, headliner, door panels and carpet are all like new, as well
as the splatter painted trunk area.
Exterior
The paint has a phenomenal bright yellow paint scheme and the
chrome and trim are in great shape. Foose chrome wheels look great
and maintain the classic style while bringing in a bit of a modern
flair.
It has dual exhaust with twin tips, chrome mirrors, and a low cowl
induction hood to set it off.
Conclusion
This very nice modified but still very original looking but
refreshed 1966 Chevrolet Nova (Chevy II) is incredibly cool. It has
a great 383 engine backed by a 4-speed and 10-bolt rear end.
