1985 Chevrolet Blazer - 5.0L V8 - Automatic Transmission - 4x4 -
88k Miles Shown - White Over Blue Interior (Please note: If you
happen to be viewing this 1984 Chevrolet K10 on a website other
than our Garage Kept Motors site, it's possible that you've only
seen some of our many photographs of the truck due to third-party
website limitations. To be sure you access all the more than 180
photographs, as well as a short start-up and walk-around video, and

our main website: GKM.com) With the K5 Blazer, GM created a 4-4
that joined, but also changed, the SUV segment itself. €"Motor
Trend, December 2020 Offered here is a well-maintained and properly
upgraded Heartbeat of America, lifted '85 Chevy K5 Blazer. The
truck's white paint is evenly applied and uniformly glossy. The
paint was professionally applied, however it is a shade of white
that is slightly brighter than the factory color. There are no
significant dings or dents on the body and body panels line up
well. The truck's body has not been modified, but the suspension
has been modestly lifted. Chrome bumpers, stock side-view mirrors,
door handles, body-side trim, and front-grille trim all retain a
nice shine with only minimal patina. Factory badging includes the
gold bowtie emblem in the front grille, K5 Blazer front-fender
emblems, Silverado rear-fender emblems, and Chevrolet letters on
the tailgate's brushed-aluminum trim. Stock silver-painted 15-inch
steel wheels (with chrome hubcaps and trim rings) are mounted with
Cooper Discoverer 33x18.5 LT all-terrain tires. Inside, pale blue
velour upholstery on the front buckets and removable rear bench
seat has been well-maintained, with only very light wear
indications. There are no signs of abuse or excessive wear, and no
rips or tears. The matching stock door trim (featuring power-window
controls, brushed-aluminum trim, and carpeted kick panels) is in
similar condition. The blue-over-white dashboard, framed by the
Chevrolet-branded, black, 2-spoke steering wheel, includes the
stock array of analog instruments (including tachometer) and
engine-monitoring gauges, set in a black panel. Brushed-aluminum
trim faces the front passenger where a Silverado emblem is mounted
in the factory-correct position. Stock air conditioning and heating
controls are slide-lever-operated. A lockable storage compartment
is located between the front seats. A Nakamichi audio head unit
replaces the factory radio. The truck's automatic-transmission
shift lever is mounted on the steering column, while the
four-wheel-drive transfer-case selector is floor mounted. Cabin
carpeting is blue and has been maintained in very good condition;
the same carpeting fully covers the cargo-area floor. Under the
hood, the GM V8 occupies a clean and properly organized engine bay.
The engine wears correct orange Chevy engine-block paint and has
added flair from an open-sided, chrome air cleaner and chrome valve
covers. AN Edelbrock AVS2 carburetor sits atop the factory intake
manifold. Viewed from below, we can see that the lifted-suspension
components are properly installed, and the custom, full-length
dual-exhaust system is a visual focal point. While the more than
180 high-definition photographs and the short
walk-around-and-startup video available on the GarageKeptMotors
website showcase this '85 Chevrolet Blazer in detail from every
angle, including from below, we expect and encourage in-person
inspections at our Grand Rapids, Michigan showroom. Please call to
arrange an appointment in advance as our showroom is not open to
the public. And feel free to get in touch anytime by phone or email
if you have questions. As truck aficionados know well, the latest
editions of the Blazer are built on an automobile platform, no
longer true to the full-size-truck K5 heritage. In part, this GM
management decision accounts for the dramatic increase in demand
for the original Blazer.
