Vehicle Description
This 1980 Chevrolet C10 Stepside has the chop-top profile of a true
sport truck. And while the full custom exterior is worth the asking
price alone, this also has plenty more substance to it. So look
over the big block V8 power, comfy A/C interior, overdrive on the
transmission, and more to show one unique machine that's also the
total package.
The cherry red paint sets the tone perfectly for this truck. After
all, red looks great on a street machine, and the deeper tone
really sets apart the yellow and orange pinstriping package. And
those colors were chosen so that it goes perfectly with Yosemite
Sam painted on both fenders. It all has a bright look and a good
shine that shows off the curves of the stepside bed, but the finish
is more about being a usable cruiser than a show truck. And as you
start to look through the whole package you can see why they made
this driver-ready. It puts a bright face forwards with a fresh
chrome front bumper and billet-style grille. And the shine of
Cragar wheels really draws attention to the lowered stance. Of
course, the first thing you'll always notice is a few inches were
chopped out of the cab which makes this look like it wants to cheat
the wind. And this aerodynamic feeling continues on the frenched
taillights in the rear fenders, frenched license plate in the
custom louvered tailgate, and fiberglass bed cover with Chevy bow
tie emblem. Oh yes, a lot of work went into this pickup.
The black interior has a great look against the red exterior. You
can tell they made investments in good places like the door panels,
carpeting, dash, and bench seat to make this inviting. There are
comfortable details, like cold-blowing air conditioning and a
retro-cool AM/FM/cassette stereo with equalizer. As mentioned
before, this truck wants to be driven, and you understand that when
you slip behind the sports steering wheel. The tilt column,
auxiliary readouts, column-mounted tach, and Lokar floor shifter
make it easy to get comfortable and ready for a road trip in this
custom.
When you open the hood, you'll love how the bright and tidy big
block radiates from within the dark engine bay. The 396 cubic-inch
V8 has the right performance upgrades, like a Holley four-barrel
carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and a sweet-sounding dual exhaust.
There are also good supporting pieces, like an Accel distributor
and a Northern aluminum radiator. And while this one is quite
powerful, it was made for more than just eating the streets. That's
why there are good all-around driving features, like power
steering, power brakes w/discs upfront, and the Cooper Cobra tires
with excellent tread. The three-speed automatic transmission even
has an electronic overdrive you can engage.
Complete with maintenance records and service manuals, this is a
fully-built custom pickup that's easy to live with every day. Call
